It’s only a few days since I announced that my short story Apparitions is now available in audiobook format. And today I’m delighted to share with you that the book’s “family” is growing once more, as I bring you the Apparitions paperback cover reveal. But before I do, here’s a look at the audiobook cover, for a hint of what’s to come…
Apparitions Paperback Cover Reveal
I designed the cover to perfectly fit the story. The silhouetted couple symbolize the anonymity I gave my characters, and I chose the background image of both the sun and moon because it too epitomises the very premise of the story. Apparitions, as described here in the opening stanza of the book…
“Anything that appears, especially something remarkable; an act of appearing; manifestation.”
…are not limited to night; the gentle mists can envelop us at any time of day or night. That itself is something I explored in one of my first blog posts, which has now, rightly, been given it’s own page on the site. You can read my thoughts on dreams, daydreams, fantasy and more, here.
Apparitions Paperback Coming Soon
The good news is you’ll only have to wait a few days before you can get your hands on the paperback version of Apparitions. This Saturday, October 8th, is Indie Author Day, and the launch will coincide with that.
What Do You Think?
Have you read Apparitions? Do you think, as I do, that the cover represents the story? Please leave me a comment and let me know your thoughts. Thank you.
